VPN Hotspot & Proxy 6.3.1

An application that allows you to run a proxy server on your Android device is now available. By utilizing your mobile hotspot, you can easily share your VPN connection with other devices, such as laptops or TVs, without the need for additional VPN installations. This setup also allows you to bypass the hotspot limitations imposed by your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

To share your VPN connection, simply enable the hotspot and launch the app. You have the flexibility to establish the VPN connection before or after activating the hotspot. Furthermore, if you wish to circumvent your ISP's limitations, start the hotspot first followed by launching the app.

The proxy server created will associate your connection with the IP address of your Android device, enabling seamless use of the connection from the connected device. Additionally, the app supports both Light and Dark modes based on your system's settings.

Getting started with VPN Hotspot & Proxy:

1. Initiate your Wi-Fi hotspot from the primary phone providing internet access and connect your laptop or other devices.
2. Connect to your preferred VPN (for users looking to share their VPN connections).
3. Launch the VPN Hotspot & Proxy app.
4. Enter a proxy port number (e.g., 8080) and tap on "Start Proxy Server" to activate the service.
5. For sharing the connection:
   1. On a connected laptop, navigate to Settings -> Proxy Settings -> Manual Input; then enter the proxy hostname/address and port displayed on the VPN Hotspot & Proxy app. Save these settings to complete the setup.
   2. To extend the connection to another Android device or TV:
      1. Install Proxy My Apps on the secondary device
      2. Open Proxy My Apps on the secondary device, input the proxy address and port separated by a colon (e.g., 192.168.43.1:8080) as indicated in the VPN Hotspot & Proxy app. Click 'connect' to enable all applications to utilize the proxy.
6. Test your connection by launching applications.
7. Remember to revert any proxy changes made on your PC when not using the VPN Hotspot & Proxy app, particularly when connected to other Wi-Fi hotspots.
